Stanford University and University of California, Berkeley are two of the world's leading research universities, and the biggest unicorn creators, separated by the calm waters of the San Francisco Bay.

Each university zone (in Palo Alto and Berkeley) has its own tree-lined avenue leading to the university. Both are named University Avenue.

We have spent decades in and around both Universities, and regularly invest in alumni and faculty-led startups that aim to change the world. What better name to call our fund, than University Avenue Ventures!
